Old Dominion University shooting suspect ISIS ties

A shooting at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia on March 12, 2026 left one person dead and two others injured. The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, a former Virginia National Guardsman who had previously been convicted of attempting to provide material support to ISIS, was killed by students in the classroom. The FBI is investigating the attack as an act of terrorism.
