US and Iran Sign Agreement to End War
The United States and Iran signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to end their conflict, with both presidents formally signing the document. The 14-point agreement includes an immediate end to fighting, a commitment that Iran will never develop nuclear weapons, reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and a $300 billion reconstruction fund for Iran. The deal, described as a framework, leaves many key issues unresolved and subject to further negotiations within 60 days.
