Russian missile attack on Kyiv kills multiple people

Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on Kyiv and surrounding regions overnight, killing at least 12–18 people and wounding dozens more. The strikes targeted multiple districts of the Ukrainian capital, damaging residential buildings, a children's hospital, and other infrastructure. Ukraine's shortage of Patriot air defense interceptors has been cited as a key factor enabling the intensified Russian bombardment.
