US and Israel launch military strikes on Iran

The United States and Israel launched coordinated military strikes on Iran, killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who had ruled Iran for nearly 37 years. The operation, dubbed 'Operation Epic Fury,' targeted air defense systems, missile and drone launch sites, IRGC command facilities, and military airfields across Iran.
