Trump nominates Todd Blanche as attorney general

President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday evening that he will nominate acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to serve permanently as the nation's top law enforcement officer. Blanche, a former personal attorney to Trump, has led the Justice Department in an acting capacity since April when Trump fired Pam Bondi.
