US Senator Lindsey Graham dies at 71

US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina died on Saturday evening, July 11, 2026, at the age of 71 following a brief and sudden illness. Preliminary findings from the medical examiner indicated the cause of death was aortic dissection due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Graham had just returned from a trip to Ukraine where he met with President Volodymyr Zelensky the day before his death.
